So Bama used former NFLers John Parker Wilson and Trent Richardson on their scout team while they prepared for LSU. Marshawn Lynch played on the scout team for Cal earlier this year. How in the world is that legal?

While Wilson played the role of LSU quarterback Danny Etling, Richardson mimicked Tigers star running back Leonard Fournette, whom Alabama ended up limiting to 35 yards on 17 carries during its 10-0 win over LSU.

Richardson, a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2011 and a former top-five NFL draft pick, has been out of football since the Baltimore Ravens released him in early August.

He recently worked out for the Kansas City Chiefs.

"I think Trent gave a pretty good look, and John Parker, too," Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey said. "I tackled Trent this week, man. That's a big guy, man. It's also pretty cool just to go against those guys, knowing what they've done for the program."
