I also don't buy that this somehow screws Ohio State. If they win out, they're gonna be in the playoff.

Ohio State is probably gonna be #3 in the next ranking, do not see how they would not make it if they win out and beat a top 10 Michigan team.

Technically no, but they're about to be #2 in the rankings. People really expect them to drop out of the top 4 if they win out?

Well not like, but I have no reason to dislike their football program which is more than I can say about a lot of programs. My friend actually played baseball there

It's definitely funny.
 
But If OSU beats Michigan, they'll have wins over three teams that would currently be in the top 10, with one loss being against another top 10 team. Don't see how the committee could leave them out. It's too good a resume.

I feel like Penn State winning out favors OSU more than anything.
 
It's hard to see any scenario where the committee leaves them out of the CFP.  They'll get the extra rest, and won't risk a loss in a conference title game.
