I don't see that working out too well for Texas.  Getting a bunch of kids from South Florida that none of the big three programs in state wants works fine for you if you're Marshall, or Louisville in a garbage conference, but that isn't going to work at Texas.
 
The only reason Louisville was as good as they were was because of Bridgewater, and the only reason they got Bridgewater was because Miami fired Randy Shannon.
 
Strong can run a hell of a defense, but I don't see him sticking for very long as the head at a big time program.

I just think it's funny that they've been talking about getting guys like Jimbo and Briles and this is what they end up with.
 
 
 
Texas is going to get back to "being Texas" for a long time.

It's not as if Strong is going to exclusively recruit Florida. The majority is still going to come from Texas

Right, but what I meant was that he hasn't really proven that he can recruit that well.  
 
He seems to be able to develop his guys though, and I guess that's what really matters.

What an absolutely miserable year for sports. FSU fans don't deserve a title.

Still had the best bowl record. Well that's what the radio just say anyway.

Auburn without depth almost beat FSU. Fucking dominated three and a half quarters then ran out of horses. Once malzahn gets depth they are gonna be frightening

I know that's true, but does that really matter? I don't put any weight into bowl games really.
 
Also wouldn't say Auburn dominated for 3 quarters, they dominated the second quarter and that's when they got up 21-3 but FSU had a big score late to make it 21-10.
