They Hornets lacked talent, not killer instinct. Gordon only played 9 games, the Hornets had no one to lean on late in a game.
This post pretty much says two different things.

How about they didn't have enough late game talent?

I could agree with you though, they didn't have enough talent due to the rath of injuries we faced. I think only one team faced more injuries than we did.

If it was up to me he wouldn't even be in consideration for #4. I'd bring him in for a workout so I could see how the players I want react to longer players.

Harrison going top 4 after the tournament he had would be the biggest joke.

Like who is the one pushing this I want to get to the bottom of this.

Henson's ceiling is pretty limited but he should be a consistent contributor from day 1.

14/8/2 imo..Give or take some rebounds off. I like him in the late lotto mid teens.

im starting to come around to henson. i still think drums would be worth the 9th pick if hes there but the idea of having a player come in and ready to start and help the team and not have to worry about them not getting any better is nice. i just dont want henson to come in and never get better than 11/8.

The only thing I really have concerns over with Henson is his weight. He doesn't have the base to add muscle like Anthony Davis does, but I don't think that is necessarily what makes or breaks a player. He's like a Davis the way he controls the paint (3 blocks a game), plus he can attack the boards, very good defensive rebounder. He is very mobile, and his low post game is becoming a bigger part of his game. He's also developing a midrange game.

I think he would be a excellent pick for you guys Rob.

I think Henson is great, and is a perfect pick for you guys.

And lol at Barnes being similar to Pierce. Pierce can create his own shot, and is quite clutch because of it

I'd still much rather have Drummond. But if it comes down to Henson, like it likely will, I won't be all that upset. I just really don't think he has much of an upside to him, IDK. I want upside. The thought of Drummond's potential makes me want him bad.

I think Henson has more upside than y'all think. I feel like his athleticism will benefit him a lot he just needs to get stronger which he can.

If I were Detroit I'd be looking for players that could make an impact from Day 1.
