They took the league by surprise, then responded the next year with no playoffs.
Yanks and Red Sox are obviously more dominate now.
They still had a winning season, doesn't mean they sucked.

4-1 Braves sigh*

I knew a 5-0 start was too much to ask for

Good to see Fat Ass lost his no hitter to Shoppach though, always liked Kelly

I didn't say the Jays sucked either. I just said they wouldn't get out of the division. Like the Rays did last year.

Rays will still compete last year imo. If the O's and Jays prospects develop properly, the AL East will not be a two team division anymore.

Facing Verlander tomorrow, we'll need a miracle to avoid a sweep.

I think Jeremy Hermida is going to be a great, bargain, addition for the Sox this year. I think he may actually come close to the potential he had back when he first came in with Florida. Power hitting left fielder can only benefit at Fenway.

Nah. I feel another slow season start lol.
What? lol

He always dominates us, and it doesn't help that we haven't been swinging the bats well at all. He's a strike out pitcher, all of our hitters are prone to strike outs. We do have a lot of lefties but it will be irrelevant if he has his curve working.

He went 5 innings and gave up 1 run the other day vs Chicago. Only went 5 because he ran into trouble in the 5th, loaded the bases with 1 out but threw some nasty pitches to get out of it with 2 straight strike outs.

He's got great stuff and I really like him, but his future destination might be back to the bullpen but he has the whole year to prove himself as a starter.
