Morrow already with 9 Ks in only 5 innings. He has really improved big time.

My god MLB umps are getting worse. They threw out esco for no reason lol.

I'm not trying to say you could see the Padres thing coming, but it was quite evident that their bullpen was going to be rock solid this year, but the starting pitching was obviously not expected since they're relying heavily on Latos-Garland-Ricahrd. It's gonna be interesting to see if the Padres hold back Latos and Richard at all at the end of the year because they've never had to haul this many innings, not to mention they're gonna be in the playoffs so even more..
Kinda funny how all it took was a year to see the Padres won the that Peavy deal with the White Sox.

Mex I think he's more of a Raul Ibanez type of guy and I highly doubt the guy is on roids. It's really hard to get away with that stuff nowadays. If he is on steroids he would have been caught a while ago.

So he can go from 16 HR's to 55 (his likely finish) over the course of one season?

Steroids don't make you jump 40 homers. He obviously fixed something wrong with his swing mechanic. Not to mention he's an all or nothing guy anyway.. He never hits opposite field. He just doesn't miss fastballs, which for some reason keep being thrown to him.

Must be on some eye steroids to see the ball better because he's not any bigger then he use to be.

He changed the mechanics of his swing to get more bat speed I'm pretty sure and just beacuse his career high was only 16 and now he has 40 doesn't mean he's on steroids I've always though he had the power. He just never got the timing before.

I'd be pissed if we had a guy on our team who in the span of one year go from total scrub to a 50 HR hitter. And in the process, began to act like a douchebag with his bat flips, slow trots and staredowns. I wouldn't like him and I would call him out for it while also admitting there is a 99.9999% chance that he is on something.

Jesus you are a typical Yankee fan. Every player does bat flips, staredowns and slow walks. U must be that chick from YouTube who was talking <Censored> about bautista. Say, have u ever heard of the word swagger?
