Well I know he can still play, but why waste their second? They still aren't going to win even with him. They need to draft a QB and work on the team and develop together.

Also, Chester Taylor to Bears.

Giants close to getting Antrel Rolle, but everyone is hearing mixed signals.

First we heard a deal was "imminent", then that same source told Adam Schein of Fox Sports that the Cardinals and Dolphins were still involved.

A few minutes ago, Giants beat writer Ralph Vacchiano said a source confirmed that Rolle was in NY and taking a physical -- usually means a deal is about to be signed -- but that source also said the Dolphins and Cardinals are not out of it. He says either team could make a last-second "better" offer than both initially offered, and snag him at the last second.

This is also after Schein's sources were telling him it was down to the Giants and Cardinals.

According to multiple sources including Adam Schefter and Armando Salguero the Cardinals are close to finally trading WR Anquan Boldin. Schefter says it appears to be either Baltimore or KC, while Salguero adds the Patriots into the mix.

My bet is on the Ravens and that could give them a strong chance to make the Super Bowl.

I don't know, I think they the Ravens need some help elsewhere, it's just hard to pin-point for them.

Oh well, in other news, Tampa still has interested in Willie Parker.

Willie Parker. . .Really? I thought, and prayed, it was a joke but turns out it's for real.

...Sigh...

Getting a top receiver like Boldin would make their offense even more versatile. They easily have one of the top defenses still, their run game is spectacular and their QB is young and showing so much potential and already has seen a ton of success in his two years in the league. Adding Boldin would just make things that much better.

If they added kidnapped Revis and put him on the Ravens.

Free-agent running back Thomas Jones will sign with the Lions, according to the Detroit News.

Jones, 31, gained 1,402 yards and scored 14 touchdowns for the Jets last season. He was released last week in a cost-cutting move.

Thomas Jones isn't going to turn that team around. He's running out of gas and it was clear down the stretch and during the playoffs.

If he's still got the gas though, it's not for 16 games in a season.

FOX Philly - Eagles coach Andy Reid is the only member of the team's front office that is holding up a trade involving Donovan McNabb, according to FOX Philly.

Reports have indicated that McNabb could be dealt soon and sources told FOX 29 that the Rams, contrary to popular belief, aren't one of the interested teams.

LOL.

5 yrs, 37 million for a average safety is what your team spent.

I'm not condoning either. Hell, it's just insanity right now.
yeah but unfortunately safety was our biggest issue last season, and unfortunately, he did like, idk, play in the Pro Bowl game.

average safeties don't play in Pro Bowls, he's still young, and he is 15x better than CC Brown and Aaron Rouse combined. It's worth the money, especially since $$ isn't an issue for a team moving into a brand new stadium.

Former Houston Texans’ cornerback Dunta Robinson, a native of Athens, agreed to terms on a six-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons on Friday, according to his agent Jason Chayut.

The terms of the deal were not undisclosed. The Falcons are expected to make an official announcement on Saturday.

By signing Robinson, the Falcons are hoping to improve their pass defense which ranked 28th in the league last season, giving up 241.9 yards per game. The Falcons also re-signed cornerback Brian Williams to a one-year contract on Thursday.

I'm not saying he's a bad signing. Heck, he's one of my favorite players. I'm just saying he's no reason for Lions fans to start talkin <Censored>, lol.
