Also, Boston is reportedly very interested in a deal for Boogie Cousins

While it seems extremely unlikely that he is dealt, he doesn't exactly fit into George Karl's fast-tempo offense.

If Sacto feels like they want to move Cousins, Boston isn't a bad trade partner. They have multiple first round draft picks each year over the next 3-4 years, and some really good expiring contracts as well in case Sacramento wants to shed salary in the process

Still is unlikely he is moved, however.
I'm very interested in a deal for Russell Westbrook too

The way Smart has been playing, it really makes sense for him to be off-ball. His spot-up shooting percentages are like, Top 5 in the league, next to guys like Klay and Steph. And he's a strong defensive beast too.

He's definitely our franchise player, but I'm not sure if he's the franchise point guard

I'm actually going off a real discussed article, not Bosox-fan logic.

Boston isn't going to get anybody, because in the history of the Boston Celtics' past 30 years, the only good deals we've made involved Kevin Garnett, and a really stupid opposing GM

Just because it's a real discussed article doesn't mean one could not realize that it's complete nonsense.

There's probably like a two or three players Sacramento would move Boogie for, and I don't think they'd be all that interest in a "package" for him either.

IDK if I might be in the minority. But I would do a BJ and expirings for Joe Johnson deal.

BJ isn't going to help us this year obviously, and who knows how he rebounds off of the injury. Plus he is in a contract year next year. DJ has played well as the starter for us.
Not to mention Joe's expiring next season would be a hell of an asset. And he still is a pretty good scorer which would help us push toward the playoff.

I read it isn't going to happen, but I'm not as outraged by the talks as most seem to be lol.
Guess it depends on whether or not SVG thinks we can sign a good FA this off-season or not.

Insurance
Either bled goes, gets hurt, or in case they cant re-sign dragic next year. Ufa

I don't think he's insurance. I think he's gonna be a sixth man and they're kind of revolutionizing the game.

Theyre not keeping all 3 long term dude
Bled will get the max, or near max
And dragic is unrestricted next year, hes in danger of leaving
nolafan33 said:
Couldn't disagree more. Bledsoe isn't going anywhere, and what kind of insurance is Thomas to Dragic? They already shot down Indy when they tried to make a move for Dragic. Think they would have discussed the possibilities more if they were planning on Dragic heading out.All three will be on that team for a while.
:yoda:
