The Phoenix Suns appear to be ready to trade away Goran Dragic rather than risk letting him leave in free agency.

The Suns seem to prefer to trade away Isaiah Thomas, but they cannot be assured of being able to re-sign Dragic.

The Houston Rockets are among the teams most active in pursuing Dragic.

The Oklahoma City Thunder, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers have had talks with the Denver Nuggets on Arron Afflalo.

The Nuggets are making Afflalo available in trade talks, though serious discussions have yet to take place at this point.

Afflalo has a player option for the 15-16 season.

The Nuggets re-acquired Afflalo in the offseason in a trade with the Orlando Magic

The Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets have held exploratory trade talks centered on Ty Lawson.

Lawson will earn $12.4 million in 15-16 and $13.2 million in 16-17.

Lawson will be 28 at the beginning of next season.

Sanders would be perfect for what the Cavs need at back up center/general 4th big.

As long as we don't move Smart, I'm down for Ty to come to Boston

Also, Boston is reportedly very interested in a deal for Boogie Cousins

While it seems extremely unlikely that he is dealt, he doesn't exactly fit into George Karl's fast-tempo offense.

If Sacto feels like they want to move Cousins, Boston isn't a bad trade partner. They have multiple first round draft picks each year over the next 3-4 years, and some really good expiring contracts as well in case Sacramento wants to shed salary in the process

Still is unlikely he is moved, however.

Because he's a good player

We won't move considerable assets for him. If his cost is simply like Bradley and the LAC 1st, he'll be here. Smart is said to be off the table on a Lawson deal, and presumably the Cousins deal as well

for teams that want to rebuild, absolutely.

Want picks? We have picks.
Have larger deals you want to get rid of? We have three expiring contracts of at least $6M

Outside Smart, we don't have a franchise player to trade, but if the team's idea is to start over a new, then we are an ideal trading spot

That being said, if the Kings want to rebuild, it makes more sense to just rebuild...around Cousins. I see zero reason to trade him at all, but if the Kings mark him available, Danny's going full speed ahead

Isn't Smart viewed as the PG of the future there?

Why take on Lawson and his longer deal while hindering Smart's growth?

Also Boogie is going to stay in Sacramento. They talked with his "camp" before signing Karl. I'm assuming he OK'd the hire otherwise I don't think Karl would be there now. Also I'm sure they'd like to get a training camp/some experience with Karl before they decide if they needed to move an All-Star.
