Same thing was said for Boston after they were assembled. I was dumb enough to pick against them then, stating their chemistry wouldn't be there. This Miami team is better than that Boston team, and already likely has ton of chemistry due to the fact all of the big 3 were good friends before this, therefore I won't make that mistake again.

And I don't see how this isn't a serious discussion lol. Even ESPN analysts agree with me, as does the oddsmakers.
Boston had legit 7 footers man lol. Think about it. None of the boston Big 3 did the same thing. Heck, they still don't to this date. Ray Allen is the pure shooter, PP is the penetrator and midrange threat, and KG is the post presence and defensive beast. In miami you have 2 players that do the exact same things, Both need the ball in their hands to produce and you have Chris Bosh who is nowhere close to the defender KG has been imo. Not to mention they were all a little more seasoned then the Miami 3. Like I said, til they play a game I'm not saying their championship contenders.

they're a good team Rip. Im not talking out of my ass. They are PROVEN, arent they? back to back titles(3 Finals in a row) doesnt impress you? ok

and since Bynum is out a little bit, wait til you see Derrick Carracter. He's going to be playing a lot. I like this guy a lot.
One of those undersized mean bigs like Carl Landry, DeJuan Blair, Craig Smith, etc.
I think more Craig Smith than the others
They are a great team lol. I'm not arguing the fact they aren't a good team. You just put them on some G*dly ass pedestal, and it's just irritating. The Lakers are going to fall off, competition is getting stronger. Perhaps the West is easy for them sure, but the new look Celtics could easily win a 7 game series IMO with their new additions, and the Heat could do the same. So already declaring them as the champions again is just a little too biased for me.

And you don't defend the Heat now?
1. That didn't make sense.
2. I do defend anyone if it's versus the Lakers. Just cause LeBron ruined the city of Cleveland for years to come doesn't mean you should defend the Lakers lol.

See what your saying is true (besides the legit 7 footers thing, cause they didn't have any on their roster), but the way I see it is just the talent level of Miami's Big 3 is on another level of Boston's. It it won't matter what type of games they got cause their comradery will just make them mesh together. If they can put solid defenders on that court with that Big 3, there won't be a team who can stop them. We all had our doubts about Boston, I just don't see how you can have the same doubts again, when the Miami Big 3 is just as good, if not better, individual talent wise. If they don't WIN the title this year, you can at least pencil them in for next year. But if they won't win it surely won't be because they didn't mesh together.

And just because everyone hates the Heat doesn't mean you have to defend them

I'm not defending them because everyone hates them. I'm defending them cause I think they are a better team than the Lakers. Has nothing to do with anyone on this site hating them. This would be no different than me arguing the Yankees are better than the Giants, or the Packers better than the Patriots.

The way you speak of them and other teams suggests otherwise to me, but that's just my opinion.

See if even a Lakers fan is flip flopping with the Heat, I just don't understand what gives anyone the right to call me crazy, cause obviously if Lakers fans are kind of scared, what I am saying deserves some merit..

Wilt, West, and Baylor did not choose to play together and had chemistry problems. LeBron, Wade, and Bosh are extremely good friends and chose to play together, that's a huge difference.
Friends off the court doesn't equal chemistry on the court IMO.

They were also playing with Chris Paul and Dwight Howard instead of Mario Chalmers and Udonis Haslem..

I know it is a logical thing to say the Lakers will win the West I agree, but it's not a given you still have to play and earn it anything can happen.

The Olympics are how long? Not 82 games, that's for sure... That's plenty of time for somebody to get upset with their role.

I just can't fathom a team that has 3 players who have to be constantly double-teamed (Bosh not so much, but he's still a very good scorer) being stopped in the playoffs. You can talk about their lack of a defensive presence in the post, but it really isn't as important as you make it out to be when you have great defenders in D-Wade and LeBron guarding most teams best scorer. The Magic have Dwight who can't be stopped by us, but VC can't stop Wade. If we play LeBron at PG like we should, Jameer can't guard him. The only team that poses a threat is the Lakers.
