You guys have too much faith in the Suns. No Amar'e is huge. I don't think they make the playoffs and I think the Rockets take their place.
Agreed. Suns are looking like a mess IMO. Brook Lopez/Channing Frye/Hakim Warrick cannot come close to replacing Amare. Turkoglu, Hill, Childress, Richardson is a logjam at the 2-3, I just don't think they're very good this year.

I still don't see what you guys see in picking the Heat to be champions. I can see them as a great regular season team that will probably top the East, but come playoff time I just don't see them as a playoff type of team. Not this season at least, still going to need some key pieces before they're going to be the super-dominant team many claim them to be.

I can see them winning it all easily. They have good pieces, the problem is how well will they play together.

I think the Bulls are gonna be good this year...they might win the east. And I could easily see D.Rose winning the MVP, if they do that good.

they're going to have to get past Chicago, Orlando, and Boston in the playoffs. It'll be tough, but they're better than all those teams. I think they'll end up playing 2/3 of these teams if everything goes to plan

then they have to beat the lakers.

i just see LeBron and Wade on the same tea,. thats crazy. i dont care who else they have.
Boston won right?

I'm only picking them because of Bron and Wade together. i see people saying eventually they'll win, but i cant see that. i can only see them winning now. what i mean is i dont think there will be a waiting period for them to "gel"

they should be good
idk about their coach. I dont know if Thinideau can do it, but i think they have the talent to offset. i love their supporting cast and DRose is going to EXPLODE. He passes Deron this year, and maybe maybe CP

What? Lebron James and Dwyane Wade together alone are better than an actual TEAM? You guys act like this is the first time that a super duo and some other good players have been put together. It has happened a lot throughout the history of the league, it's only so huge now because we're an era where media and the news is so huge that now everyone literally knows about it. I'm not at all denying that Wade and James are going to be one hell of duo, and no I'm not forgetting the very nice complimentary piece that Bosh is, but if this team is going to just ride on "James and Wade" like everyone is saying, I don't see it, at all. Go ahead and pull out Jordan/Pippen and Kobe/Shaq duo comparisons, neither of those duos ever did it by themselves at all. Outside of the main three in Miami, I don't see what's so special about the Heat as a TEAM at all.

Two top players, a good player, and a bunch of old ring-chasing role-playing veterans a championship team does not make.

Boston, they're a team, most of the attention goes to the Big Three/Fantastic Four, but they have all the right pieces around their main guys. Orlando is a team (albeit kind of gimmicky), they have the right pieces around Dwight Howard. Chicago is a team, it's not just D-Rose, Boozer, and then the other guys. The Miami Heat, have few good complimentary pieces, but I don't see this championship team that could win right now that you guys see.

You really disappointed me with that response Mexi. YOu can't honestly tell me that the only reason you think they're going to win just because of "OMG JAMES AND WADE TOGETHER?! WTF??!?!" YOu have to give me a lot more than that. I pegged you as someone more basketball savvy than that. I guess I thought wrong.

Still amazes me that people can question the chemistry of three guys who CHOSE to play together and are extremely good friends.

This isn't like a team trading for certain players and not even knowing if they want to be there, these guys CHOSE their locations.

I agree for the most part.

I will enjoy watching Derrick Rose brick free throws in the clutch and give up as many points as he scores this year...

im not jinxing anybody
i called the clippers getting the #1 pick in 09 :)

that was the anti jinx. the clippers were supposed to have like the 7th pick

and Whisper, seeing LeBron go to Miami made me sick to my stomach. Seeing their press conference and their ESPN interview this week also made me sick. they are acting so arrogant it's disgusting. Wade was overdoing it, LeBron too. "You read my tweet. I dont got to explain it" (about his mental notes) and saying "its not championship or bust, but it's championship"----wtf does that mean?

anyways, i think their supporting cast is good enough. a lot of 3 point shooters and i just cant dismiss Bron and Wade together. And Bosh for that matter. Everyone forgets abotu Bosh
once LeBron and Wade start going towards the basket getting Bostons bigs and Dwight in foul trouble, forget it

Boston is too old for me. I dont think they can turn it on like they did last year. they caught lightning in a bottle last year

looking at it again though, i forgot they have some <Censored>ty bigs. Juwan is done and Z is too. Joel Anthony sucks and Haslem is ok.
i guess im just picking them because they HAVE to win and thats too much talent for me to dismiss

my heart of hearts says the Lakers are way too good though. I love the Lakers team this year

If the Nets don't win the NBA finals this year, I'm going with the Heat. They played EVERYBODY for suckers.

I'm waiting for any non Lakers-Heat championship matchups. No ones making any bold predictions.

Heat won't make it out of the east. The Celtics and the Magic are both better playoff teams this year.

pretty much impossible not to pick the lakers in the finals
but im worried this NBA season is going to be too top heavy

only 3 teams in my opinion have a true shot. a few maybe have a shot at the finals (orlando, chicago, outside chance of dallas, more outside chance of okc)
