I get it, but that doesn't mean I have to like or agree with it. I don't know of guys forcing their way to the teams they want to play for though.

Maybe it did happen a few times, but not as often. Now every star player only wants to play for 2 or 3 teams it seems. That's what rubs me the wrong way.

Bill Russell, Larry Bird, John Havlicek, Bob Cousy, Kevin McHale, Dave Cowens, etc all played their rookie years in Boston. None of those guys bolted to a big market because they didn't want to be in a small market and couldn't build their "legacy." Times are different. The whole building of super teams nowadays is crap.
Those guys didn't leave because they had other legit stars on their team...

Russell played with Cousy and Havlicek.
Havlicek played with Russell, Cousy, and Cowens.
Bird played with McHale, Parish, Cowens.

Im excited about the Knicks vs Heat. JR Smith and Steve Novak need to play great to get a win. The Heat are gonna be fired up to finish this tonight. Time to see if Melo will have a repeat performance.

Wow that wasnt a good way to end the half. Man I really dont like JR Smith. He doesnt play good defense, he has bad handles, and he has a low basketball IQ. All he does is shoot once in a while.

We need a hot shooting streak from him right now or else Melo wont be able to match Wade and Lebron.

Mike Woodson's offensive system (or lack thereof) is again not working in the post-season.

I'm shocked

What are you talking about? Isolation basketball has always been the championship formula.

Melo needs fucking help from someone on the team. At least hes playing well tonight. Heat are about to close this out with a Lebron run.

Amare with a stupid pass, Landry Fields tripping over himself, and Chandler not getting that rebound. So frustrating.

Bring on the Pacers.

Raped them twice in the regular season, for the second series in a row people are overestimating the Heat's opponent.

Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith: 14-for-38 (37 FG%). Rest of Knicks? 14-for-26 (54 FG%)

I don't know how anyone could overestimate the Pacers.

They struggled in just about every game against the Magic. Pacers aren't a threat to anyone.

Everyone is talking about the Pacers like they're going to take this series 7 games or some stupid shit like that.

Melo and Amare can really co-exist when Melo takes 27 shots and Amare takes 7 shots, lmao.
