Javale McGee has outplayed Andrew Bynum in the series, according to Stephen A Smith. I wonder if there is any truth to that. hmm.

Why does it seem like basketball before I was born is better than basketball now?

Like Game 5 in the 84 Finals...

No one ever thinks what they're watching at current times is better than previous times. It's just a mindset. Watch Midnight in Paris.

Yeah I came back just to make this post after thinking about it lol

It's a mindset, it takes awhile for games to uhhh, have a legacy or lasting impression I suppose.

I'm an exception though, I rule out previous times like no other.

I really like the current NBA product, just not the Heat. Although I dislike them a lot less than most Cavs fans or NBA fans in general, aside from maybe Rip.

I'm not a fan of the whole "super team" or "dream team" thing.

its always been there though. i dont see how you dont get that. what i dont like is what players like melo did/are doing. if i was the the team trading him id send him anywhere for the best package(though i like what denver got), i wouldnt send him to the team he wants to play for.

The underlining problem is no team is going to trade for said superstar without a guarantee of him signing an extension, unless they're desperate (The Clippers).

you would have team willing to "rent" as we heard with dwight. i know its not going to happen but teams put too much "power" to their star players.

i really dont think i will this year. even if they miraculously win the title, i would have been pulling for miami or indiana :)

today's product is generally great, i just wish refs would let them play a littler more. too many ticky tack fouls

Dan Gilbert will win a title before LeBron, he said it so I have no reason to believe LeBron will win it this year or any time soon.

I get it, but that doesn't mean I have to like or agree with it. I don't know of guys forcing their way to the teams they want to play for though.

Maybe it did happen a few times, but not as often. Now every star player only wants to play for 2 or 3 teams it seems. That's what rubs me the wrong way.

Bill Russell, Larry Bird, John Havlicek, Bob Cousy, Kevin McHale, Dave Cowens, etc all played their rookie years in Boston. None of those guys bolted to a big market because they didn't want to be in a small market and couldn't build their "legacy." Times are different. The whole building of super teams nowadays is crap.

I don't think any city can rival Cleveland's dislike for LeBron. Tons of people turned on Zydrunas Ilgauskas just because of LeBron lol.
