28 and his knees are already titanium..
This is true. I've heard from a Hornets "insider" that around 29 teams have actually talked to the Hornets about CP. I'm about to start a thread on it with a trade the Hornets "balked" at.Grizz offered OJ Mayo in a deal for Chris Paul supposedly.
No way lolBynum for Paul
He looked a bit leaner in the video I seen. But I'll believe it when I see him improve.Read an interesting article today on the Pistons site about Charlie V and how he has stayed and will stay all summer in Michigan with Arnie Kander to work out. He says he feels real good and he got leaner and is getting stronger. So I guess that's good for him and us.
Portland is showing strong interest in Cleveland Cavaliers guard Mo Williams(notes). The Blazers have been making calls to check on him.
Now there's some chatter on the NBA grapevine the Bucks may be interested in another small forward - Corey Maggette of the Golden State Warriors. It's no secret the Warriors have Maggette on the trading block - even though he is coming off a quality season in which he was the Warriors' second-leading scorer at 19.8 points a game. He also averaged 5.3 rebounds But Maggette has a fairly hefty contract - he still has three years, $31 million remaining on it - and the money- conscious Warriors would like to unload it.
The speculation is the Bucks are offering the Warriors center Dan Gadzuric, who has one year left on his contract for $7.4M, and guard Charlie Bell ($3.8M).
I firmly understand that. Doesn't mean the Cavaliers wouldn't be better served if they were able to work a good deal for him. There is still a market for a quick PG who shoots 43% from 3 and 90% from the line.... No matter how bad his defense is.
Detroit Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva faces a charge of domestic assault after a May 19 incident in Burlington, Ontario.
The 25-year-old Villanueva was released by Halton Regional Police on a promise to appear in court on July 9. The name of complainant and other details about the incident weren't available Tuesday.
His lawyer, Owen Wigderson, says Villanueva, "denies all allegations of wrongdoing and I'm very confident that he'll be exonerated."
