I never seen what anyone saw in Hibbert anyways, yeah he got alot better since he was a freshman, but he's slow, not that good of a rebounder, and isnt offensive savy.

He would make a very good role player on a team, but never was a lottery pick IMO

Eh, Hawes plays more like a PF. They need some bigger guys to seal the front court. The future looks bright like this:

He's 7-2, he can rebound well enough. All he really has to do is hold a hand up.

Hibbert is one of the tallest players in the draft, and however he might not be very athletic or explosive, but he is VERY skilled around the basket on both ends. He would be a very good pick, but I was hoping he'd go to Utah.

He can pull them down. Doesn't matter if he only averaged 6 last season or 7 in the 2 previous years. Sure he'll have to work on it a bit, but he'll be able to rebound.

I love Hibbert though. I think he will be a good NBA player. Not All-Star, but play like a Memhet Okur role for a team.

Not even close to an Okur role...Okur is an outside threat, Hibbert won't ever be an outside threat. Unless you were talking about the other part of his game. Which you probably were.

And not agile enough? You don't need to be way agile to rebound, just put a body on someone and reach up or jump up and grab it.

I don't mean his offensive game, I just mean like a really solid center, but not quite All-Star. But a BIG help to the team to what he does.

But as for rebounding, you have to remember the NBA players are bigger, stronger, taller, and more athletic.
Hibbert vs. Yao on the boards, he would get killed. Same goes for like Duncan and so on.

And yes I know he was on the All-Star team in 2007, but he was a replacement, and the West wasn't as strong then.

I really don't think so. The guy is 7'2" and is strong. He'll hold his own. Plus working with NBA trainers and people like that, i'm sure he'll be fine.
