That would make sense, and be a good pick. They could put Hawes at PF and Hibbert could play the C spot. He's real good inside.

If Bayless fall to us, we'll pick him up. D'Antoni loves him.

Here the first 7

1. Derrick Rose
2. O.J. Mayo
3. Michael Beasley
4. Russell Westbrook
5. Eric Gordon
6. Danilo Gallinari
7. Jerryd Bayless

Miami and the Clippers I believe will trade because Brand is a very important commodity to Riley.

I never seen what anyone saw in Hibbert anyways, yeah he got alot better since he was a freshman, but he's slow, not that good of a rebounder, and isnt offensive savy.

He would make a very good role player on a team, but never was a lottery pick IMO

The Bucks are sending out strong signals that they like LSU's Anthony Randolph at No. 8. A legitimate 6-10, Randolph has been called a cross between Tayshaun Prince and Odom. But West Virginia small forward Joe Alexander, a hard-nosed worker, is seen as a better fit with new coach Scott Skiles. ...

Portland is shopping its pick (No. 13), hoping to include it in a package with G Jarrett Jack and Travis Outlaw for a veteran shooter, such as Memphis' Mike Miller. … Seattle is looking to move veteran F Chris Wilcox, while also trying to move up two spots to No. 2 for Michael Beasley. Miami could move down to the Sonics' spot to grab O.J. Mayo, who has been working out in recent weeks in Chicago with Dwyane Wade. But the Sonics don't have a lot to offer Miami. Mayo's work ethic has been compared to Bryant's - which is really saying something - and his vertical leap was measured at 40 inches. … Minnesota is leaning toward taking UCLA's Kevin Love at No. 3, meaning Stanford's Brook Lopez could fall to Indiana at 11. … At 10, the Nets reportedly are locked in on F Danilo Gallinari. … Chicago is saying it will take Derrick Rose or Beasley, but the bet here is Rose. … Sacramento is hoping that Georgetown C Roy Hibbert is available at No. 12, and he should be. … Gilbert Arenas isn't leaving Washington, despite opting out of the last year of his contract, which would have paid him around $13 million next season. Arenas and the Wizards have secretly agreed on a new multi-year deal, according to a GM friend of Washington executive Ernie Grunfeld. ... Players who are apt to be impacted the most by the new anti-flopping rule are Cleveland's Anderson Varejao; San Antonio's Fabricio Oberto and Tony Parker, and the Lakers' Derek Fisher. Among the quartet, Parker flops almost exclusively when he has the ball and is on his way to the basket. So, yes, officials will be looking for actors at both ends of the court, and fines will be the same.

Why would Sacramento want Hibbert? Hawes isnt a PF.

Eh, Hawes plays more like a PF. They need some bigger guys to seal the front court. The future looks bright like this:

C - Roy Hibbert
PF - Spencer Hawes/Shelden Williams
SF - Ron Artest/Francisco Garcia
SG - Kevin Martin/
PG - Beno Udrith/Another Pick

I just dont think Hibbert will be anything more than a bench player. Id rather get Hendrix than Hibbert.

He's 7-2, he can rebound well enough. All he really has to do is hold a hand up.

Yea, you can't count on Miller for much longer...if any longer.

Hibbert is one of the tallest players in the draft, and however he might not be very athletic or explosive, but he is VERY skilled around the basket on both ends. He would be a very good pick, but I was hoping he'd go to Utah.

He can pull them down. Doesn't matter if he only averaged 6 last season or 7 in the 2 previous years. Sure he'll have to work on it a bit, but he'll be able to rebound.

He's not agile enough, lol.
I love Hibbert though. I think he will be a good NBA player. Not All-Star, but play like a Memhet Okur role for a team.

Not even close to an Okur role...Okur is an outside threat, Hibbert won't ever be an outside threat. Unless you were talking about the other part of his game. Which you probably were.

And not agile enough? You don't need to be way agile to rebound, just put a body on someone and reach up or jump up and grab it.

I don't mean his offensive game, I just mean like a really solid center, but not quite All-Star. But a BIG help to the team to what he does.

But as for rebounding, you have to remember the NBA players are bigger, stronger, taller, and more athletic.
Hibbert vs. Yao on the boards, he would get killed. Same goes for like Duncan and so on.

And yes I know he was on the All-Star team in 2007, but he was a replacement, and the West wasn't as strong then.

I really don't think so. The guy is 7'2" and is strong. He'll hold his own. Plus working with NBA trainers and people like that, i'm sure he'll be fine.
