Second look, I'd be ok with Sanchez as #2.  It's like 2a and 2b with these guys.

Completely disagree with this consensus.  To me, the past means more than what a player is projected to do in the coming years.  That's why a lot of my picks have been different from others, because I depend on the past more.

Where re your votes for Babe Ruth?  Or Carlos Beltran?  The past can count, but you seem to be over emphasizing it.

I probably am, but I more faith in what's done then what hasn't happened yet.

The reason I pick Yadi is because he has a history of making teams better. He made the Cardinals great for several years and the Puerto Rico WBC team would have never gotten to the Finals without him. Aside from his stats, he's got the right demeanor and he makes every pitcher better.
