he's excellent behind the plate. maybe not throwing runners, but blocking balls, top notch. always appreciated him giving his all to stop that wild pitch
he's worth a gamble
he's actually a solid catcher when you compare him to other catchers.
plus he has an uppercut swing that would play well at Fenway
