Pretty sure last year you said Baron Davis sucked..
I believe I said he wasn't good enough for the 1st round pick, but if I said he sucked I was likely exaggerating due to what he was traded for.

And regardless, he's probably an improvement over Mario Chalmers and whoever else we were throwing out there at PG.

He wasn't traded for a first round pick, he was traded with one, for Mo Williams.

You're right, no idea what I was thinking just now <_<

Still don't remember saying he sucked though.

Well anyway, if the Cavs do cut him, I'm not sure how he fits in but it would be entertaining to watch because he throws one of the better alley oops in the NBA.

I think he would rather play with the Lakers though, if he had his choice.

Yeah being from UCLA and all, I think cheato's right. I hope they make it so teams over the tax can't continue to spend. That's one of the flaws of the old CBA.

follow up on Baron:
Sources with knowledge of Davis' thinking told ESPN.com on Tuesday that Miami would not be at the top of Davis' list of potential free-agent destinations if the Cavs indeed decide to set him free.

Davis' hometown Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks, sources say, are the two teams he's always dreamed of playing for.

Baron would never succeed on the Lakers. In the triangle point guards are really just there to get the team into the offense and then they flash to the corner and spot up. The triangle is really trying to get a easy post opportunity for the 3 (Artest) or the 5 (Bynum).

Now of course that isn't the only real option that the PG has, he can also flash to the paint instead of the corner and try and get a double screen back out to the ball and either take the own shot, or hit another player for a shot. Or they can run a staggered screen for the dive man and try and get him a shot. But mostly the PG just gets the ball into either the 2 or 4 and then dives to the corner and spots up.

Man this lockout seems like it's just stalled. Kind of like a hurricane. You know it's coming, it gets here and you think it will eventually pass, then it just stops dead right over you.

Who said they'd run the triangle still?

I doubt it, unless Mike Brown has an assistant who knows the system, because I could say almost certainly that Mike Brown has no clue how to run it or how it works.

Your probably right. I think I remember reading that they will still run it (not as their base but they won't leave it behind) but I could be remembering something else.
