Yeah, it is seemingly all but official. Think it is a perfect fit for both sides.

Yeah, I think it's a great fit. I've felt that way from the very beginning. I like Whisenhunt, I think he will be a good change for the Lions.

Certainly hope so. I liked Schwartz, but if Whisenhunt is the replacement I am perfectly okay.

I'll be curious to see if he keeps Gunther Cunningham or if he'll want to have a guy like Ray Horton come in, who he coached with in Arizona.

I wouldn't doubt if he kept Gunther. Interested to see what he would do with the OC though.

Literally lost all faith I had in next season. I honestly would not be surprised if we finished with a worse record than we did last year. We should've just fucking kept Schwartz if we were going to end up signing Caldwell. What a joke. I'm going to love how they play this off like he was our first option too, while he was clearly plan B.

Fuck this garbage ass franchise.

Don't understand why he'd choose a team with questions at QB and RB when he could have had guys like Stafford and Calvin.. I'm confused

Cause he knows this franchise is a joke. Everyone takes over the job thinking they can be the guy who will finally turn us around, and they never do. Plus we have like no cap flexibility.

Couldn't even coach one of the greatest QBs of all time to a Super Bowl ring, IDK what the fuck they think he will do with Stafford.

I'd rather go with Munchak, and I don't even like him. Anyone but fucking Caldwell.

I agree with Munchak over Caldwell

Lol. I just read if Caldwell got the job it would be likely he brings Jim Tressel to his offensive staff.

Yeah that will go over really well in Michigan.

Had I known they were going to hire Caldwell I would have said keep Jim Schwartz. But who knows, maybe he's better than we think and he works out well there. Guess that's all you can hope for at this point.
