rotoworld:
Following Sunday's win over the Jaguars, Matt Leinart (left clavicle) acknowledged that his season is likely over.
Leinart, clearly, broke his collarbone in the second quarter. "I think there's probably a pretty strong possibility I won't be coming back this season," he said. It's a tough break for Leinart, but not necessarily damning news for the Texans. They have a good enough running game and defense to stay competitive, even with fifth-round rookie T.J. Yates at quarterback, so long as Yates' role is minimized. Houston was never going to pin its hopes on Leinart, anyway.
