This is ridiculous from both of you

paulius, your tiering argument is absolute shit. saying kyrie > hayward because hayward is tier 3 is just garbage of an argument. Is Marc Gasol better than Damian Lillard because Lillard is a Tier 3 and Gasol is a Tier 2?

bnc, we all know you have a kyrie-hate boner. gordon is a really good player, and an elite cutter statistically, but this is kyrie's team right now
I don't hate Kyrie, you all just overrate him. It's not absurd to say Hayward is better than he is

I'll wait for the inevitable argument when the Celtics lose in the ECF and Paulius is gonna call it a success and BNC a failure
That's not a failure, falling short of that, if healthy, is.

Gordon Hayward is better than Kyrie at nothing, so I guess that's something

Kyrie is at least competent on defense?

Holy shit no. I don't live in a space where everything is binary, it can be neither a success, nor a failure

Dude only calling it a success if hes in the finals when the goat since 2012 is in the way is just wild, especially when its the first year wit a team that only has one starter from last year

Kyrie Irving career defensive rating:

In the regular season: 109

In the playoffs: 109

Apparently turning it up results in... no difference

The absence of success does not mean it's a failure, how can you possibly not understand that? I mean I know how, but seriously this isn't difficult

I know you're just baiting paulius, but 53 wins shouldn't be a 1 seeded team but rather a 2-3 seed. It was less Boston being the best team in the East and more of Cleveland not trying to get the 1 seed

We're gonna be better (because lowkey Kyrie might win MIP) but the ECF is still the goal
i kind of hate how low you try to sell this team now. you went from extreme bias to underselling. why? to not look like a homer?

I dont look at those little numbers because most of the time its flawed shit and has to do with the rest of the team

Eye test>>

Youve even said before how Curry turns it up in the playoffs to an extent, and he does. Nothing crazy, but he does and so does Kyrie

Sure haywards better on that side, ill give you that but Kyrie atleast isnt a liability like IT where Lebron purposely has IT switch on him and eats him 7 times in a row on purpose. Hes just short, nothing can be done. Kyrie and Curry atleast have the body to be disruptive and shit. Whatever tho. Inb4 you say "wow kyrie has been surprising to me this year, what a dog". Cant wait
