You will be able to tell it from the home page, because it shows the last post, which could be from "March 23 2015" and not "Today".

I honestly think the Division set up is a fine compromise between individual team forums and just an NBA section.

And still I believe divisions are too much lol. Forum used to be okay on just the 1 forum. I would probably do the conferences but I just think it works better because we really only post the really important stories otherwise we use the season threads... it would also look better in the offseason lol. If the divisions were actually being posted in then I would find them useful but it's kind of rare... I think my opinion is unpopular though haha and I'm always cool with what a majority wants

Things really don't get posted anyway which is a huge problem by itself

I struggle to decide whether something should be posted in the main forums or the division forums.  At least as far as the bigger news is concerned.

So why have all these ways to sort topics and posts if there ain't really much to sort out? Isn't that the main idea?

I just don't think many people find the divisions that useful.

I actually agree with you.

Maybe something like

NBA News
NBA Discussions
NBA Game Day

could be a new way of looking at things

I'd be cool with a sorting of that kind.

I think they're very useful when used the way they were meant to be used.

Could break it down more too, something like:

NBA News:
Trades
Signings

NBA Discussion:
We could put our rankings here and other things

NBA Gameday:
Gameday discussion
Bring back line of the night

I don't think a Signings/Trades subforum is needed because some of the topics in those are some of the most important and most discussed topics, so the should be on the main page of NBA News.

I like

NBA News
NBA Discussions
 - NBA Player Comparisons
NBA Game Day
 - Line of the Night
NBA Draft
NCAA Basketball
International Basketball

Do the same with Football, scrap the College sections.
Make proper sections for MMA, Soccer, etc.

I agree get rid of the divisions because there isnt a sufficient amount of activity to justify it. We should go back to the old way where it was just by conferences or leagues.

I don't think we ever had it by conference. I'd be on board with removing division forums and re-organizing the layout. I like Buzzy's suggestion. No need to separate trades & signings. And that way we can separate general discussion (trades, news, signings) from the game day threads. Maybe even do a gameday thread for each week.

Not sure if we need a "News" section and a "Discussion" section though. Maybe do:

NBA News
NBA Game Day
 - Line of the Night
NBA Comparisons
NBA Draft
NCAA Basketball
International Basketball

Did you change the tab hover color, or was it red before?

I couldn't figure out how to change it on Buzzy's skin.

Edit: Never mind, I think I just figured it out. Weird how that happens.

I liked it better when it was by sports too. I don't think anyone talks about international here so you probably don't need that.

You could probably lump comparisons into a general discussion thing. Draft, game day, news, college basketball.

So now we are talking about removing divisions?  Whatever you guys think is best for the forum.  It might help activity if all of the divisions are in one section, but could hurt the site on search engines as it won't have the words of the teams on each section.  That's my only concern.
