Good luck telling Magic fans that you let Dwight walk because of what Brook Lopez might want in FA. Regardless, anything is infinitely better than nothing. Four picks and MarShon Brooks is certainly worth more than absolutely nothing.
it's just a shame that these guys sabotage the team

the deals they're looking at suck because dwight will only sign with a certain team

now that he doesnt want to go to the lakers, whom i think otis wanted to trade with, NJ gets to sit pretty

both deals were good to me

if you want to take the clipper deal because of the wolves pick, sure go ahead
Eric Gordon, Wolves Lottery pick, Chris Kaman's large expiring contract, and as a result of this deal, the Hornets also get a top 4 draft pick just off being bad.

compared to Kevin Martin and Luis Scola who currently headline a mediocre team, even with Kyle Lowry. Lamar Odom is practically irrelevant now.

Regardless of what the Magic's delusional opinion is of their chances after trading Dwight, they're going to suck no matter what deal they take.

Bynum is not going to have a much larger impact than the Nets deal would have.

Don't bother talking to Mexi about the fairness of trades, he thought Gasol for Kwame Brown was fair...

they got Marc Gasol and it freed up money to get ZBo for free from the clips.

like it or not, the trade wasn't that bad

it might have looked bad at the time, but it ended up being a nice trade.

at the time it looked kinda bad, but compared to deals today, meh. 2 first round picks, 2 prospects in Crittenton and Marc Gasol, and an expiring contract

but now for sure it has worked out

as of now it's Marc, ZBo, Arthur and Pondexter(traded Greivis for him)

The Lakers didn't give the Grizzlies Zach Randolph, I don't know what you don't understand about that. The trade was terrible. You're the only person I've ever heard say the Grizzlies got a good deal...

it ended up being a good deal i said.

without trading pau, they arent able to trade for ZBo for literally nothing. (i think they gave the clips QRich or a 2nd round pick for ZBo)

I dont get why you are so angry over this trade, but you haven't said anything about the Chris Paul to Clippers trade. it's almost the same thing

Marc, Crittenton, 2 firsts, Expiring Kwame
vs
Gordon, Aminu, 1 first, Expiring Kaman

CP > Pau, so of course the Clips should give up a little more. but adjusting things, it looks pretty even. especially since Gordon is damaged goods and a RFA soon

Don't even talk about the Chris Paul trade Mexi.

Eric Gordon is arguably a top 5 SG when healthy, Aminu has shown great growth, that first round pick will be in the lottery and many thought it would be top 6 or so, and Kaman isn't no slouch.

I just think crying about the Pau trade is so tired
it worked out pretty fine

you can't judge most trades right away.

I can judge it now and still say the Lakers made out like bandits.

Memphis ended up getting lucky with that trade, somewhat. That doesn't change the fact that it was still a terrible trade at the time. How many times is a guy like Gasol going to actually develop into the center he is today?
