Don't know why you're so against the Euros.. They are question marks, but pretty much everyone outside of Kyrie and D-Will is destined to just be a role player. I'd rather take a chance on a high potential Euro.

You'd hate Euros too if your team drafted Darko over Bosh, Carmelo, Wade, etc lol.

Derrick Williams can't really get by two, I guess. That's just too much value to be passed up on in a lackluster year, IMO.

I'm not a huge Williams fan. I think he'll be solid, but not "great" like you want in the #2 pick. I do think he may be the most NBA ready player in this draft, but the fact that he's a tweener worries me. He see's himself as a SF, but I think he'll have a lot of trouble guarding NBA threes on the wing without any team help.

I think he's a little like Beasley, who struggled a little when he came into the league.

I just think there is a pretty big drop off after the first two picks. That's why I mean you can't really pass on the potential of D-Will at that spot. I think he's going to be a pretty darn solid player in the NBA, and Minnesota with Wes and Kevin Love could be a nice landing spot for him.

I think D-Will can be a great 4..he's not a 3 at all. I wouldnt be shocked if he had a better career then Kyrie honestly.

I don't know why he wants to be a SF so badly, I think he could make it work but there is nothing wrong with being a 6'8 PF.

Apparently Miami has made a promise to Reggie Jackson at #31, so he has shut it down.

Yeah just because Miami promised him doesn't mean a team before them can't pick him.

Yeah, no point in drafting 2 PGs with your only 2 picks in the draft. They have other needs.

And I highly doubt Sacramento will draft Jimmer, even though they like him.

Jimmer had 5 work-outs and supposedly all 5 of those teams love him. He should of done more workouts.
Our newspaper had a HUUUUGE article detailing how Jimmer was so amazing at the workout and how enamored the front office was with him. Kemba's article was half the size and none of the enthusiasm.

I'm mainly worried Sac will take him looking at our draft history :/

I don't think Sac will take Jimmer. Too high.

I think Derrick Williams will be the best player in this draft.

Also heard the Blazers promised Reggie Jackson.

This year's invitees to the June 23 draft:

Kyrie Irving (Duke); Derrick Williams (Arizona); Enes Kanter (Turkey); Brandon Knight (Kentucky); Kemba Walker (UConn); Jonas Valanciunas (Lithuania); Jan Vesely (Czech Republic); Kawhi Leonard (San Diego St.); Chris Singleton (Florida St.); Klay Thompson (Washington St.); Tristan Thompson (Texas); Jimmer Fredette (BYU); Marcus Morris (Kansas); and Alec Burks (Colorado).

A 15th name has been added -- Markieff Morris of Kansas. Markieff is Marcus Morris' twin and also widely considered to be a top 20 draft pick
Good group. I like how they invited Markieff as well, even though he will be the last one to be picked.

With the exception of Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge, Derrick Wiliams would be the best #2 pick in the last 11 years.

I'm just letting nola know that #2 picks over the past 10+ years haven't been great, since he was saying you would like someone "great" out of that pick.

Just because they haven't panned out doesn't mean they're not expected to
