Shump would be great if he could hit a f-ing shot. Great defender though, and great hair / swag. You'll love him.

If the Cavs get 12-13 Shump, this is a huge home run.  I originally read JR as the only incoming which would've been hilarious.  I think taking on JR is the cost of getting Shump who could be an elite 3+D guy.  Waiters suck and was a net negative.

Tristan-Love-LBJ-Shump-Kyrie FTW.

I'm pumped for this deal for Cleveland, exactly what they needed and probably even better player coming back in Shump than I would've expected for Waiters, who honestly sucks balls.

Thunder get hoodwinked in this deal and somehow walk away with nothing for a guy who might be a fringe star in a few years (big might).  I don't get why they make this trade now, just ride the season out and figure the money out after. SMH.

If Jackson's not in the deal OKC gets Waiters for table scraps basically, right?

Is Jackson not in the deal?  Would make no sense unless picks were going there way which it'd make no sense for NY/CLE to send.

Even if JR Smith simply tries on D and shoots around 40% from 3, he'll be useful for the Cavaliers.

I hope JR Smith plays before Kyrie and LeBron come back.

No Jackson, just salary fillers to the Knicks from CLE and OKC

So we traded JR and Shump for nothing?

There's that great Phil mind.. That awesome basketball mind

Trade a player you coulda got a 1st for, to 2 squads you hope to compete against in the next few years

Bravo Phil bravo
