Gordon and the Minnesota first is the definition of caving in. This is 100x better then the Laker deal.

I kept telling yall Hornets and the league had the leverage because the Clippers wanted Chris Paul, not the other way around.

You should be thanking Stern.. You get a top 5 pick and Eric Gordon instead of role players lmao.

Clippers still gave a lot up to get CP3. Better hope he resigns. Good package the Hornets got.

This return for NO is much better than that trash the Lakers were offering.

the League executives were basically running New Orleans' side of the discussions. No way in hell League can reject it.

I still dont think this is a good deal.

The Clippers have zero SGs, 1 SF, and 4 small PGs (Mo Williams, Chauncey Billups, Eric Bledsoe)

idk if CP3 is better than Gordon, none of those 4 can play SG, and Gordon+Billups> Paul+"available SG"

I'm not going to sugar coat it, if it wasn't for him we would have got the other package (which I liked). But this deal is MUCH better.

But still, fuck Stern :)

It'd be hilarious if the Clippers ended up trading away the #1 pick in the draft two straight years. I'm rooting for this.

They have to have another deal in the works imo.

Could you imagine if the Clipps had just kept the course, and not made any moves?

Could be looking at potentially Kyrie/Gordon/Aminu/Blake/Anthony Davis or Drummond.

Yes, because they literally have only two good starters, one being a superstar, the other being an all-star.

Stern > Demps as a GM, it's pretty evident now.
