Damn, IMO it looks like a nice deal for all of the teams. I want to see how Cleveland plays now, they should be an interesting team to watch.
2nd, Cavs > Pistons just like last year's playoffsI think they are now the 3rd best team in the East now.
lol, yeah they picked up some decent guys, but do you really think Ben will do anything for them? No, he wont do crap, just as he did in Chicago. I mean come on, $60 Mil and hes getting 5 PPG, and 8 RPG? When the Pistons are the top of their game, no one can beat them, so I dont see how the Cavs would just by picking up Wallace, Smith, West and Szczerbs. Hughes and Wally are averaging identical numbers, so nothing will change there, and West and Jones are averaging almost identical numbers also. The only good Cleveland did was getting rid of Newble, hes trash, and picking up Smith. Joe Smith > Ben Wallace any day.2nd, Cavs > Pistons just like last year's playoffs
How the hell do you figure we didn't get a good deal? I think we got the best out of this deal... Gooden is better than both Wallace and Smith and gives us a good low post scorer and rebounder. Him and Kirk are also familiar from their days at Kansas. Larry Hughes, before going to Cleveland, was one of the best (top 10) SG in the league. With a change of scenery, I think he can improve and hopefully get back on a solid level. It's not like if he doesn't do good we are gonna suck either (not that we don't already suck), but we still have Duhon, Kirk, Gordon and Sefolosha at the guard positions. Cedric Simmons is also a former lottery pick, so I wouldn't give up on him just yet.I don't exactly see how the Bulls get a good deal out of this, but I hope with Ben Wallace being gone that Aaron Gray gets more playing time.
I don't know what it is, but I guess I'm just not sure about the inside scoring game still. I am wondering whether or not Gooden would be able to significantly help out the Bulls. How the hell do you figure we didn't get a good deal? I think we got the best out of this deal... Yeah I am sick of everyone saying that Noah sucks. he needs more of a chance to prove how good he is. Why wouldn't Gordon start, and wouldn't he basically split equal minutes with Hughes at SG?I can see Noah starting now (at center) and Gray backing him up, which is a good thing. They both deserve to see more minutes. I think this will be the lineup from now on -
C - Joakim Noah
PF - Drew Gooden
SF - Luol Deng
SG - Larry Hughes
PG - Kirk Hinrich
SG - Ben Gordon
SF - Andres Nocioni
PG - Chris Duhon
SG - Thabo Sefolosha
PF - Tyrus Thomas
C - Aaron Gray
PF - Cedric Simmons
We really have a logjam at the guard positions.
5 points and 5 boards in 15 MPG isn't that bad, especially considering he doesn't really know when he's ever gonna play (he can play 3 games in a row, then not see the floor for 5).Gordon never starts.
And Noah sucks. He tries hard and somewhat makes up for it, but he's still an awful player...
Yea there better, yea this is Brons best team...But damn could you please got off LeBrons nuts and quit hating on the Pistons...C - Zydrunas Ilgauskas
PF - Ben Wallace
SF - LeBron James
SG - Wally Szczerbiak
PG - Delonte West
PG - Daniel Gibson
C - Anderson Varejao
PF - Joe Smith
SG - Sasha Pavlovic
SG - Devin Brown
PG - Damon Jones
PF - Dwayne Jones
PG - Eric Snow
That is the best supporting cast LeBron has ever had. I'd believe that the Pistons aren't better than last year, obviously this team tops the Cavs. If they can click chemistry-wise they can challenge the Celtics. You're not better than them until you beat them in a playoff series, which I'd give the edge to Cleveland in simply because of LeBron...
Yeah, but with 5 guards ahead of him (Hinrich, Hughes, Gordon, Sefolosha, Duhon), I don't see him making the active roster.Didn't we get Shannon Brown too?
I'm guessing you are referring to the Sonics lol.wtf!?!?!? What is this season coming to??? Giving your good players for nobodys!?!?!
