You are pointing to a bunch of incidents that take into account the character of these QBs, but none of those incidents hurt their play on the field. Manziel drinking all the time clearly effects his game planning and he is paid to win games, if he does that some problems can be dealt with. He doesn't win, which only exacerbates his issues

THANK YOU! Everybody has this stigma against him and they don't pay attention to the actual problems at hand why things are happening the way that they do. Pettine fucking hates Manziel and the only reason he started before was because McCown was hurt and he didn't have an excuse not to start him. As for TMZ; they won't be able to profit off of following others around. Manziel is instant money for them because of his name, image, and popularity.

Also, why does Pettine hate him? Because he doesn't take the game seriously and he isn't a winner. If Johnny could competently lead a team you can bet your ass he would be out there. Pettine isn't going to lose his job over some grudge.

Coach has to play the guy who cares. Look at RG3 or Kaep. You can have all the talent but if football isn't your priority, you aren't going to be successful. The quicker you cut your losses, the sooner you can climb back towards relevance.
