After last night, I think its time to hit the reset button again in Cleveland. Manziel was supposed to be their guy and he isn't nearly good enough to ignore all the horseshit he does off the field. Dwayne Bowe get the $18M contract and isn't on the field when the game matters. Pettine looks clueless out there.

Hire an offensive/QB guru, draft the most pro-ready QB with that 1st overall pick, and keep Josh Gordon under lock and key.
Passing on Bosa... nah... Manziel looked great against Pittsburgh. If we are going to scrutinize a young QB (22) for drinking and partying that's fucking dumb. Every player in the league drinks and parties. Half of the defensive guys in the league are making it rain outside of nightclubs and shit. Fucking Greg Hardy beat the fuck out of his wife and almost killed her and he is not only playing, but being lauded as a "leader". I get so sick and tired of this BS because Manziel is a polarizing figure and a QB.

Only Manziel is continuously dump enough to do this shit in front of so many cameras. He needs to learn professionalism. He is the quarterback and regardless of all the thugs and criminals employed by the NFL, the qb is always held to a golden standard. Either way it doesn't matter b/c Manziel will never be a legit QB in this league and isn't even worth the frustration that comes along with trying to defend the guy.

And Bosa won't be going 1st overall.

Please watch the Steelers tape and tell me he isn't a legit QB. Nobody is saying he's a top tier guy, but he is good.

He's not good. That scat-QB shit doesn't work in the NFL when you're 5-foot-nothing. Hell, Tebow burned the Steelers in a playoff game once but we don't see him on the field.

The proof is on the field. If Manziel was any good, he wouldn't have to wait for the depth chart to be decimated by injuries before getting a start. Regardless of his boozing and partying, any NFL team would start him if he were any good.

You do realize this is the most inept franchise in the league, correct? Everyone knew and voiced that he should be starting all year haha.

When you're on the same depth chart as Josh McCown and Austin Davis, yes, you should be starting. I'd start Jeff George over those two. But being the best QB on the Browns doesn't say much these days.

Now you're just backpedaling haha. Every supporter of the Browns, even the beat writers, said that Manziel should be starting. It's the idiocy of the front office and coaching staff that have McCown going until he's seemingly dead. Davis was elevated to 2nd string to "prove a point" last night... When the only point they proved was that they are a shitty team in front of the entire country. So yes, he'd start for the Browns. He'd start for a lot of teams in the league actually. But as long as the Browns have shitty management, shitty coaching, shitty personnel, shitty ownership, etc, nothing will change.

Name three starting QBs that Manziel is better than and for the love of God, take off the Cleveland blinders for a moment.

Fitzpatrick, Hoyer, Osweiler, Sanchez, Cousins, Foles, and Gabbert.

Is it fair to compare Manziel to all these backups who are only playing b/c their No. 1 is on the shelf? That would be Osweiler, Sanchez, and Gabbert. Few would argue Osweiler has shown way more promise in two games than Manziel has in two years.

I don't think Manziel is better than Fitzpatrick, Hoyer, Cousins, or Foles either. Each has had their consistency issues but what's the measuring stick? Manziel hasn't done anything. Couldn't beat Josh McCown coming out of camp.

He did beat McCown out of camp. The team's twisted vision was to have him "learn" so that he could be the starter next season but he outperformed McCown the same way he outperformed Hoyer last year in camp. Those are NFL starting QBs. Kap won't be back with the Niners as a starter. Osweiler is the new starter with Peyton retiring this year. Bradford hasn't done anything with the Eagles this year, so Sanchez could very well be the starter the rest of the way. And to say that Hoyer, Cousins, and Foles are all better is laughable. Hell, lump Josh Freeman in there too.

I'll take shit from a lot of people for my supporting Josh Freeman but not from somebody who thinks Johnny Manziel can succeed in the NFL. Bringing up Freeman is how you defend your side of the argument? Has to be. Johnny certainly doesn't have all the NFL stats and highlights to help you out, does he.

I can't even take you seriously when you made that dumb assertion. And your hate for the kid is clearly showing. Nobody has ever stated here that Manziel would ever be a top tier QB, but when you are presented with others that he is better than that are currently starting (more than what you asked, might I add) and you blatantly say "nope not better" that's just ridiculous. I get it, the kid is unlikable... But seriously? Come on...

I don't hate Manziel, I just pay attention to the NFL, I understand the differences between the pro product and college. Manziel would only succeed if the vintage, Michael Vick style of play still worked. And that's all besides the point b/c it has been proven fact: no guy who exercised such poor decision-making lasted very long as an NFL starting quarterback. Manziel is stubborn and selfish. He should be a student of the game right now instead of taking up the "do what I want to do" attitude.

I don't care what Cleveland local radio and Browns beat writers think. If it were possible to dissolve Johnny Manziel, the Browns would have already done it. The fact Johnny Manziel did a bunch of shit in college doesn't make him better than a group of QBs who have seen the field much longer than a couple of starts. Again, what has Manziel accomplished in the NFL that would cause you to overrate him so much?

You will be awfully sour when they pass up Joey Bosa for a QB with that first overall pick in 2016 NFL Draft.

It's not going to happen. Whether they move on from Manziel or not, they won't pass on Bosa, barring a shitty combine/major injury/scandal story coming out. Just won't happen. You're clearly out of your element arguing about the wrong team. "I don't care what people close to the situation think because I watch NFL games on tv and I'm right". You do realize there are members of the organization that want him there as well, don't you? And that Pettine is the one making all of these dumbass calls. Paired with Farmer who overrides his scouting department, and Scheiner who has no idea what football even is.

And you have the Ohio blinders on. There's no reasoning with such a big homer.
