And you have the Ohio blinders on. There's no reasoning with such a big homer.
It has nothing to do with homerism. I've already mentioned I personally don't care if Manziel is the starter next year or if they start fresh. To argue the points that you're making is just dumb and not using common sense. See edited post above for further clarification.

Are we arguing whether Johnny Manziel should start for the Browns right now...or if Johnny Manziel will be a successful starting QB in the NFL? I'm arguing the latter while you seem hell bend on arguing that Manziel is the best QB on the Browns roster and the entire organization knows it.

Both to a degree. He's currently the best QB on their roster and has been mishandled. He'd be the best QB on their roster next year as well barring a major trade or drafting a top guy overall. He's also better than the QBs I mentioned before that are currently starters. Again, I never claimed that he would be a top-tier QB. He can be a middle of the road QB that makes great plays occasionally though. Similar to Joe Flacco, in the sense that he is able to make big time plays, but for the most part he's an averagely talented QB at this point in time.

So you think Cleveland's reluctance to start his is why we don't know he's a great starting QB? Ha. Again, if he was so damn good, he'd have started right out of the gate. It takes more than scrambling and scatting to succeed at this level. Manziel doesn't have anything to offer outside of his raw ability. Shit, Terrelle Pryor offers more as a QB in the NFL.

1. There comes the Josh Freeman side again lmaoooo you should make a thread on it.

2. Do you just keep posting without actually reading or not? I've never once said that Manziel was great or even good for that matter. I've said he would be an average NFL QB, which would still be the best Cleveland currently has to offer.

What does any of this have to do with Josh Freeman? lmaooooo

And why are we wasting all this time debating whether or not Johnny Manziel can be Geno Smith in the NFL?? Who really cares? Manziel isn't cut out to play the position in the NFL and I don't think he's in the league much longer than the end of his Cleveland term. Better QBs have come into the league and just not cut the mustard.

Because you make some really, really, mind-numbing assertions about QBs... Do you honestly believe that Terelle Pryor would be the better option at QB than Manziel? Because if you do, I might have to just log out at this point lmao. I mean you keep ignoring the points that I make about Manziel and keep rolling back to his size and his running... Although if you actually watched games he played in this season he never ran to simply run, it was always to set up throws and to get angles on passes. Russell Wilson does the SAME EXACT THING being the SAME EXACT HEIGHT (this is a lie, he's actually an inch shorter lmao), but you don't have much to say about him either do you... I guess his playstyle (and how he actually rushes a larger percentage of the time than Manziel) doesn't really bother you.

The only points you have made are "everyone knows he should be starting" and "Josh Freeman, lol." Manziel's NFL journey was always destined to be an uphill battle and after nearly 2 years, he's still stuck at the bottom. My point is simple: if it was going to happen, we would've witnessed it by now.

Two years, 5 touchdown passes...4 INTs. A QBR below 50 last year and I don't think he's cracked 75 this year.

He doesn't FUCKING SUCK but he isn't average.

QBR is a meaningless stat. Nobody knows how it is calculated lol. And yeah, I guess we should just discount growth. He's gotten better each game he has played. I guess young guys don't improve anymore with reps. Weird.

Young guys who conduct themselves like adults can improved with reps.

Now you're just being ridiculous lol. We should just lock every player in a cage and only let them out on Monday nights, Thursday nights, and Sunday afternoons. I guess they can get Christmas too if they're on good behavior.

Its not every quarterback consistently getting popped by TMZ for acting like a high school kid who snuck into a casino....just Johnny. You can stop making excuses for him now.

Manziel can start at the NFL level, but you aren't going to ever win 10 games with him unless your defense is top 10

Hard to believe a franchise can be so full of ineptitude

Ben Roethlisberger - raped women in college, reckless motorcycle accident
Jameis Winston - where to begin... sexually assaulted a girl, made her cover it up, jumped on a table and screamed "FUCK HER RIGHT IN THE PUSSY"
Cam Newton - wreckless driving that led to a car accident

... Just to name a few QBs in the NFL who don't take nearly as much shit as Manziel for doing worse.

Time and championships heal all wounds. And Cam is nothing but full of good press these days. Johnny should be taking notes.

That's not a big deal as the media made it to me.

The bigger issue was the sexual assault and covering it up but I just wanted to mention it hahaha

Jameis was deemed innocent. He was an easy target for such an accusation. Nobody knows if anything happened, but I doubt anything actually did. And if the girl waited over a year to report a real rape occurrence, there are much more serious issues going on in Florida than 1 rape case.

You are pointing to a bunch of incidents that take into account the character of these QBs, but none of those incidents hurt their play on the field. Manziel drinking all the time clearly effects his game planning and he is paid to win games, if he does that some problems can be dealt with. He doesn't win, which only exacerbates his issues
