Because he still lives in Akron in the summer, his wife wants to live here, Kyrie & Wiggins are good, and Dan Gilbert, while he is a dumbass, is willing to spend more than Arison to win. More than most owners in the league

Well at some point pride matters and it's my opinion that 90% of men in this world wouldn't go play for Dan Gilbert again if they were Lebron, regardless of the situation.

Regardless of what he decides, he's not going to re-sign with the Heat because he wants to play for Arison, sign in Cleveland because of Gilbert, or go to Houston because of whoever owns them. He's signing with who he believes will give him the best chance to win now, and down the road, surrounded by players he's comfortable with.
 
He signed with the Heat originally because of Wade & Bosh, not because of Riley & Arison. Hell, Arison forced cost cutting moves onto Riley, and LeBron made it clear he was not happy with that.
