We will be starting our 6th annual SI player rankings.

Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

But on the real, no one better have james harden as #1

maybe bware won't because he has a hate-boner for harden, but he's the best SG and it's not even close. The margin between him and the next best SG is the largest among all the positions

Where would Harden rank all-time if he played defense?

It depends on who's ranking them

I'd say the Top 3 are obviously Jordan, Kobe, and Wade

Then you have West, Gervin, Iverson, and Drexler in that next category, and that's where I would put Harden in. Anywhere from 4-9 really

Depending on how well he played it, I'd probably put him behind Kobe.

If he was a good defender? He's one of the most gifted scorers we have ever seen imo. I see no reason he couldn't be that high.

Nobody with a straight face can tell me if they needed to win a game tomorrow they'd take James over Klay.

Why even put JR in the options if we are not allowed to vote for him? Then take him out cuz he gets voted? But guys like Rodney hood and afflalo still in there??
