Wow, and you call me a troll SMH

All I meant from that was that I voted for Rondo because Rose wasn't on the list, and Rondo only won by 1 vote. Rajon wouldnt have won if Rose was on the list, was my point

And Rondo is FAR from a bad basketball player. Played really well for the Celtics this year, to the point that getting a late 1st and Jae Crowder, plus contracts, for
Rondo was considered a steal for Dallas. Now, Rondo and Carlisle had significantly different opinions on how to play, and Carlisle didn't let Rondo play the style that suits his game. Rondo in Dallas was a disaster, but he is not a "bad basketball player". He's not Top 10 anymore, but he'll bounce back in Sacramento. With Rudy, Boogie, Belinelli, and maybe even Smith, the Kings will run Rondo Ball, and it will work pretty well.
The style that suits him is controlling the ball at all times, and Rondo always in control of the ball is not a winning formula.

Still, saying he's a bad basketball player is a tad extreme

If he has the term starter next to his name then yes, he is bad. That also probably means your team will be bad as well.

Only on SI will a "premier" passing PG that hurts his teammates and respective teams two seasons in a row offensively when he is on the court not be bad. That premier passer also registered the 72nd highest turnover turnover rate of the 74 PG's that quailed, but no he's ight. I kind of envy how long some of you allow yourselves to live in the past.

For the record he had an awful year for his standards but I'm not willing to call a 28-year old 4-time all-star a "bad basketball player"

Rondo is definitely terrible. You can't win with your primary ball handler not being able to score at all if you ask me

Tyreke teams were +5.2 points per 100 possessions with him on the court btw, Rondos teams were a -4.2 points per 100. Solid effort though.

Well I think even you could agree that Rondo teams didn't have Anthony Davis so

I said this the other day but it bears repeating: The mark of a good intelligent man is the ability to change his mind when presented with no information. Some people just can't process new info that quickly. This is a special situation to, Rondo literally gives you nothing and is a douche on top of it all, and people still don't think he's a bad player.

Once again, there's a difference between having a bad year and being a bad player. But you just try to be cool by making extreme points that you eventually act like you never said and cover your tracks on (i.e. Jordan being highly overrated on defense, Kyrie not being a top 10 PG, etc)

I understand why people would say Kyrie wasn't top 10 last year. It was completely wrong, but he had problems defensively and people questioned his play making, so it was understandable

And people are starting to drop the notion that a PG has to be a "floor general" as well, so that helps the perception.

All this Rondo talk..

Shit you ask me he was the biggest cog in that ring he has...

Traditionally a PG isn't SUPPOSED to score, their job is to facilitate.. I can't put 5 PGa ahead of. Him in that aspect
