Like any stat, it has its flaws. But it's a very good "metric" to use, no matter what CC thinks. There's actually a list of how much a player should get paid according to their winshares per 48, and it's pretty close. Like I think Ryan Anderson was 9M per year based on his win shares and he got 8.5, Dragic was at 8 and he also got 8.5, obviously just two examples though.I admittedly know very little about win shares because I just haven't researched it enough, but I'm a big proponent of advanced metrics and I assume it has some merit.
Fesenko played in only 3 games and had a per36 of 17/19, so obviously he's going to show up high on metrics, even though it doesn't mean anything.
