Why did we all just waste 2.5 hours of our lives if the Warriors weren't even going to have to earn the win? What was the point of watching that game if the officiating was going to decide it before the last 30 seconds? The Warriors should never have been within 5 points in the last couple of minutes. Not once did they earn this game. Not once. The narrative is going to be a missed FT and JR being the village idiot that he is (does he have a single brain cell left or is he really just that stupid?) It never should have come to those two plays but the officials decided to reverse a charge they call 99.99999% of the time in favor of a blocking foul simply because it made the game more compelling. Not to mention all the non-contact foul calls Durant got for gimme free throws while LeBron had to get mauled to even hear a whistle. During the second half of that game, it literally seemed like GSW was allowed as much contact as they wanted but Cleveland couldn't touch them. George Hill had 5 fouls and I'm not sure any of his second half fouls involved actual contact.

What was the point of watching this? LeBron was great but had the game taken away from him by 3 guys in gray shirts. I haven't been so furious about officiating in several years. I'm literally steaming 45 minutes later after a shower and time to cool off.

i'm so fucking angry. This probably swings the series to 4-0 or 4-1. How does this happen? How can 3 officials be SO FUCKING BAD in the second half of one of the most important games of the season? That officiating job tonight by Kenny Mauer, Ed Malloy, and Tony Brothers would not be acceptable on opening night of the regular season, let alone game 1 of the fucking NBA Finals.

Does the NBA have the balls to apologize to Cleveland for this publicly? Do they have the balls to make sure Cleveland is getting everything in game 2 so this is actually a series?

I hate to tell everybody here ,but we just wasted 3 hours of our lives. There was no point in watching this game. None, whatsoever.
The NBA has to make this right for LeBron James, Cleveland, and NBA fans in general. This is unacceptable.
Hey man, have a snickers

What I need is a game 2 in for Cleveland or the officiating problems in game 1 become even more unacceptable. The league literally has to hand game 2 to Cleveland. It's the only way to make this even somewhat right. The NBA can either make sure this obvious hosing of the Cavaliers right or this game will go down in infamy as horribly botched by the officials.

So you were just complaining that the warriors got handed a game and the way you want them to fix the problem is by handing one to the cavs in game 2?

Doesnt seem like a logical solution man

He's not getting a pass. Observation, logic, and critical thinking skills tell us that the Cavs are about a quarter of what the Warriors are, quality wise. You can't get a pass if you can't win in the first place. This Golden State team is fucking unbeatable, which makes the officiating tonight all that more egregious.

Because I have a pulse and a pair of working eyes. That they are unbeatable is not an excuse for really, really, shitty officiating. Durant was getting Jordan calls out there. Truly absurd.

Ok I have to admit

I thought Cleveland won

When JR got the rebound I was happy. Then time ran out and I yelled

Then I saw Draymond clap and I was like wait did jr step out of bounds

Then I heard breen say he thought the game was over
