If you can’t change the call in the first 46 minutes then the right call in the last 2 is whatever is called on the floor

LeBron would know the situation though. Who else in the league wouldn’t know the score? Nick Young is all I got

Apparently it’s been in the rules for a few years and what better time to let everyone know than with 30 seconds left in the Finals

Yea no doubt

Pretty fucked up. These kind of mistakes can ruin the entire series. Hopefully they bounce back. I just want a fun series

This feels a lot like game 1 of 2015, a completely overmatched team goes to overtime in game 1 and losing feels like they blew a chance at the series

Cavs winning this would have meant game 2 and 3 would both have huge stakes, now.. I’m not so sure

I woulda felt great about cavs in 7 if they woulda just lost normally

But now after that mental breakdown they just had, i feel terrible about it

Not sure if theyll be able to bounce back from this. Just a shit loss

Might be a sweep incoming at this point tbh

Why did we all just waste 2.5 hours of our lives if the Warriors weren't even going to have to earn the win? What was the point of watching that game if the officiating was going to decide it before the last 30 seconds? The Warriors should never have been within 5 points in the last couple of minutes. Not once did they earn this game. Not once. The narrative is going to be a missed FT and JR being the village idiot that he is (does he have a single brain cell left or is he really just that stupid?) It never should have come to those two plays but the officials decided to reverse a charge they call 99.99999% of the time in favor of a blocking foul simply because it made the game more compelling. Not to mention all the non-contact foul calls Durant got for gimme free throws while LeBron had to get mauled to even hear a whistle. During the second half of that game, it literally seemed like GSW was allowed as much contact as they wanted but Cleveland couldn't touch them. George Hill had 5 fouls and I'm not sure any of his second half fouls involved actual contact.

What was the point of watching this? LeBron was great but had the game taken away from him by 3 guys in gray shirts. I haven't been so furious about officiating in several years. I'm literally steaming 45 minutes later after a shower and time to cool off.

i'm so fucking angry. This probably swings the series to 4-0 or 4-1. How does this happen? How can 3 officials be SO FUCKING BAD in the second half of one of the most important games of the season? That officiating job tonight by Kenny Mauer, Ed Malloy, and Tony Brothers would not be acceptable on opening night of the regular season, let alone game 1 of the fucking NBA Finals.

Does the NBA have the balls to apologize to Cleveland for this publicly? Do they have the balls to make sure Cleveland is getting everything in game 2 so this is actually a series?

I hate to tell everybody here ,but we just wasted 3 hours of our lives. There was no point in watching this game. None, whatsoever.

The NBA has to make this right for LeBron James, Cleveland, and NBA fans in general. This is unacceptable.

Can we really call this a mental breakdown when Cleveland played the last 24 minutes 5-on-8? They didn't lose this game--they had it taken away from them by men who are supposed to be professionals and the best at what they do in the world, but were unfit to officiate a shitty high school game tonight.
