Notice the reports about kd meeting with knicks officials earlier this season
This isnt new! Guys dont make verbal agreements with teams on july 1st. They talk before hand

Especially superstars. Ive said this before. Superstars dont just get up and go. There's always smoke for a reason. League partners need to know well beforehand

There's been multiple reports about the org worried he's leaving

There was just as much smoke last year with LeBron leaving for LA

And even KD to GSW. I remember ESPN had an article about them wanting to chase him but everyone rolled their eyes cause that team was on the way to the best regular season ever and already had a title
