I dont think its unrealistic at all. Like I said when this all became public, the only way the Lakers can get into the AD trade sweepstakes is if they go out and get players the Pels want, but the best possible package the Lakers can offer is one that includes a bunch of young players that have not played up to their potential and are going to get overpaid on their 2nd contracts. What others are offering isnt relevant here, the Pelicans have zero interest in what the Lakers have to offer, and thats why they arent picking up the phone. Someone will offer something much more intriguing than that, even if its not their best offer.

Everything Ive heard says the Pels have interest in Ben, but are a little concerned how a Simmons/Jrue combo would work. Ive also heard they are trying to move Niko/Randle/Moore for a marketable big that can sell tickets, because they are getting a wing back in the Davis deal.
