Kyrie is such an idiot haha. Demands a trade to get out from LeBron's shadow. Realizes its much easier to win championships with LeBron than without him, and wants to rejoin him.

What an idiot.
No idiot if you plan this shit out before hand

If Kyrie walks out on Boston and joins back up with Bron I'm gonna start stanning him like Mexi does with Harden. It'd be so damn funny.

It will definitely hurt, but honestly speaking (and im prepared to get slammed on this btw) I don't think KyrieBall is our best way to win

I mentioned it last year, but we have 3 styles of offense.

• The first one is just essentially a free-for-all isolation based offense. Thats what we use for most games, and it gets Kyrie, Tatum, and Morris a ton of shots. The league is talent driven, so winning iso situations is always important, and Kyrie is one of the best iso scorers in the league.

• The 2nd one (least frequently used) is a subset of iso offense, but its the Kyrie/Horford P&R offense. Either Kyrie will attack himself and get buckets, or they trap on him and he kicks it to Al for the open 3 (which is a very efficient shot). We use this a ton during crunch time minutes, but obviously its hard to maintain over a full game lol

• But the 3rd style is the most effective, what I call "The Brad Stevens Offense". We almost exclusively hold off using this in the regular season, outside of timeout plays. This is the ball-movement dominant offense that made Jordan Crawford a POTW winner, Evan Turner a $70M contract, 30ppg Isaiah Thomas, Scary Terry in the '17-18 post season, and so on. Having talent surely helps, but you can win games without having Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving with this style of offense. And tbh we really haven't seen Kyrie run this offense due to his injury last year, and I'm incredibly excited to see how he does this year.

------

If Kyrie walks, Boston's not completely screwed. Terry would be brought back to be the starter (averaging 15/6/6 as a starter this year, 16/6/5 last year, and 17/6/6 last postseason), and we'd still have Tatum and Jaylen Brown to build around. We'd have potentially 3 1sts this year to add young talent to Sleepy Williams, not to mention Smart, Horford, Gordon Hayward (hopefully his mental issues will be resolved next year; this year he's a bench piece) and maybe Marcus Morris comes back too.

Honestly, Kyrie could walk next year and Boston could still win the East (mostly assuming Kawhi leaves too tho). I honestly don't think Kyrie's the difference between Boston contending to make the Finals or not, but rather the difference between contending IN the Finals or not.

I don't think so. I think he was genuinely sick of LeBron and being under his shadow. Then he experienced real life in the outside world and realized its a damn cold place and hard to win. So after calling LeBron and apologizing, he's like man I messed up a good thing. Let's do it again.

If the Lakers manage to get AD and Kyrie in the offseason. Goodness.

Although the Lakers always are set up to land everyone and never do soooo

Maybe but he seems like a dude with a big ego to just bow down like that

We’ll see what he says after he goes to the Lakers

But Klay wanting to go to the Lakers is very surprising to me

I think Bron would prefer Kyrie over him though

They cant get all 4

Question is though if the Lakers somehow manage to trade for AD (this week or offseason) can they even afford Kyrie?? I heard with AD and Lebron they won't have enough for another max.

Klay is smart though

Instead of running around in gsw offense and putting in so much effort, he’d rather chill at the 3 point line and wait for open shots from Bron after all the defense is focused on Bron and AD

He would really be an ideal fit with Bron and AD but i still think Bron would rather have another creator and finisher like Kyrie to take some ball handling duties off him

Happy Jah is finally getting a chance. I liked him at summer league. So much offensive talent.
