This OT is proof that James Harden is not a championship caliber #1 option. Throughout this OT he has been punked by a role player resulting in 3 turnovers, evidence of how poorly he takes care of the ball. After taking the lead due to a great shot by Ryan Anderson, he's too slow-footed defensively to prevent an easy drive and layup by Danny Green. He even failed as a leader, singling out and berating Clint Capela after Harden was careless with the ball and lost it.
James Harden has tried so hard to prove that he can get away with not fixing his obvious flaws. It's time for him to grow the fuck up and own his shortcomings, and work on them and improve.
Houston lost this game while Kawhi sat and watched because of a bad ankle. Mostly due to Harden folding like a little bitch.
Bware you probably watched all rockets game all year. Who do u give the most credit for this successful season? Was it harden? Or maybe even dantonis system? What do u think my friend?

I'd be surprised if bware said he watched ten rockets games this season (not counting playoffs)

Yeah, I hardly watched a thing. I hate to do it but credit goes to Morey for reshaping the rOster with a nod to MD'A for getting Harden away from the muck ball he was plating before.

Sports in general are losing their draw for me, with the exceptions of Sprint car and Late Model car dirt track racing and hockey. I've watched more hockey playoffs than basketball playoffs.

Paulius finds somebody who agrees with him about James Harden and wants him to post more often haha. Shocker.

I think you'd all agree with me aboit Harden. He's a great player but his shortcomings are not OK because they're fixable, but he won't put in the work.

The Rockets would be so much better with Clint Capela as their best player

I think harden is definitely careless at times on both sides of the ball to the detriment of his team. I disagree that he can't be a #1 option on a championship team though. He's an incredible scorer and passer.

What he can do as an individual is incredible, period, but I don't view him as a player who makes his teammates better on a consistent basis, and I don't think he should so blatantly stat chase. His next evolution as a player is in the Basketball IQ department. I actually consider Harden a better player.
