Isaiah's still very much safe. One of Crowder or Bradley, however, lost a good amount of job security imo
How can LeBron be better than MJ when he's not even better than Kobr?elcheato said:LeBron better than MJ already

He's entertaining and makes me laugh
And i gotta say, kristine leahy used to be a local sports girl on the news. Ive been crushing on her for a few years and she blew up quick lol. Especially after the lavar stuff
I was listening to 98.5 yesterday (Boston's sports radio) and Wyc Grousbeck was on and he alluded to being able to pay the luxury tax, so he can make it work if we went over.Hurricane Season said:
I wasn't talking about the fit, I was talking about the crazy amount of money the Celtics would ultimately end up paying for a team that still probably won't make it out of the east for at least a few more years.
If they max IT after next season, that will be nearly 2/3 of their cap tied up between him and Horford alone.
What if they get Hayward this summer? Do they still max IT? Clearing the space to get Hayward is going to completely gut the team.
IT
Fultz
Hayward
Crowder
Horford
As it stands right now, that would be the core of the team after next season. Then they'd have to decide whether or not to give Smart and Bradley 20+ million... That's certainly a strong team in the east, but how confident are you in that team being a serious title contender? They'd have to fill out the rest of that roster with players off the scrap heap and late draft picks.
I don't know much about the Celtics or what their plans are moving forward, I'm just wondering if it would be smarter to either let Thomas walk, or trade him in order to have more flexibility down the line.
