I wouldn't be so sure about that. Right now under contract, its just Deandre, Jamal, and Austin.Mexi said:No way chris leaves LA
• Crawford is 37 right now and i doubt he'd stay past his contract in two years (if the clippers dont cut him after this year anyways with just $3M of his $17M guaranteed)
• Jordan's in his final year, and his max is $209M/5 the year following. I wouldn't want to pay him anywhere near that
• Rivers makes a decent $11-12M but hes also a bench player
Redick and Blake are also FAs with CP3 too. Blake will command a max, and Redick anything from $18M to $25M per year as well. By CP3 re-signing he wants to be on a good Clippers team, which means re-signing those two and going DEEP into the luxury tax while still being maxed out as a 3-4 seed in the West and at most a 2nd round exit. And that's if Redick and Griffin want to re-sign as well
If Paul were wise, he'd leave LA for a better situation cap-wise that provides him winning opportunities. idk if that's houston or not, but i would not pencil CP3 back to the clipps at all
