Judge set the world on fire and is living off of that
His numbers look so good because he does have a ton of walks

But yeah hes not the best player in baseball or one of the top 5 or so like he seemingly was for a few months

I don't think anyone expected him to keep up that kind of pace anyways. He's still a good hitter regardless.

Its not even close. Judge got hot for three months. Rode a high and very unstainable BABIP and strikes out as much as Adam Dunn

You say 3 months like it's nothing. That's half a season. This isn't uncommon. I saw it happen with Michael Conforto last year - 2 hot months, then he couldn't touch the ball. Pitchers adjusted and he struggled to counter that. This year he bounced back and had a great year. This stuff happens, we'll have to see how Judge rebounds next year.

Yea he strikes out a ton, but he also draws a ton of walks. The guy is in his first full season - he's clearly a great hitter with a ton of potential. He's going to improve in the next few years.

I said likely.  I am far more impressed with Bird's strike-zone judgement.
Both guys are players I'd like to have for my team, by the way.  I just think Bird will be a better player in the long-run.

Anibal Sanchez is currently the Tigers' number 1 starter.

Rebuilding is swell.

CC it is amazing tho that the dbacks have won 11 straight, dodgers have lost 9 of 10, dbacks are 9-8 this season vs the dodgers, and the dodgers have lost 9 games from their lead in like a week, yet the dodgers still have a 12 game lead
