they need him in the lineup everyday so the jays can get a top 10 pick for next year's draft. it'd be nice to see alford called up and get some everyday at bats in september though.

Seager hasnt started the last two games
Bellinger was just activated off the dl tonight. Theyve missed him

Ryu gave up some homers, but hes not even going to make the postseason rotation anyways. And in all 4 of these losses, theyve made a comback and had a chance to win in the 9th(8th tonight)

Tonight was pretty close. Down 6-0 in the 7th and all of a sudden in the 8th they had bases loaded and down 2 for seager

Last night rodney pretty much blew the game but the ump decided to extend the strike zone


Theyll be fine. First 4 game losing streak since may 2016 though. That's pretty good

yeah im still not worried

They arent playing these games with urgency. They are doing things like starting kiké hernandez vs a righty and adrian gonzalez pinch hitting vs a lefty (both likely wont have a single at bat vs same handed pitchers in the playoffs). Also maeda and ryu wont even make the postseason roster and seager didnt play in arizona and wont this weekend in SD

Health is more important than anything. Thats why bellinger was placed on the dl despite being healthy pretty much midway through his 10 days. Its why kershaw is being activated tomorrow instead of a few weeks ago. He said last week he felt healthy 10 days ago, so thats like 18 days he's been ready. Darvish and wood were on the dl too. Darvish was activated sunday and wood this weekend
