I think he cant hit the high inside fastball and breaking balls away
Maybe so, but he had a major drop off after 2014, whatever it was.  Maybe pitchers figured him out or maybe he just started having this attitude that just brought his talent down.  He doesn't seem like a great clubhouse guy.

I'd rather take the outfielder that can hit and is better in the clubhouse.

In my opinion, the only thing good about the Dodgers is Seager, Kershaw and Dave Roberts.

By the way, I wouldn't call this small payroll:

Dodgers have the highest payroll at the start of 2017, dead money or not.
but who on that was a wreckless signing?

We didnt even keep greinke and everyone killed us for that. Fans love to bring up the dodgers lack of a #2 or co-ace

I mean if you're really complaining about our ability to have andre ethier, scott kazmir, alex guerrero, matt kemp, etc still on payroll. So be it

I always laugh when people bring up our payroll. Oh you want andre ethier to be a free agent so some ofher team could sign him? lol

You took on three horrible contracts with the Boston trade, and that wasn't even taking a chance and signing the guys.  It was pretty much taking them away from us and allowing us to rebuild for a 2013 championship.

As good as A-Gone might have been at that time, he was still very expensive.

did we give those guys those contracts? No

Did we fire ned colletti? Yes

Ownership was ok taking those guys just to get gonzo. It was a message to the fans that new ownership is different than mccourt.

They lowered parking immediately. They got agon
They remodeled dodger stadium

Have they done any big spending since then? Nope. Just on Jansen who if you haven't checked his numbers this year or watched october, was well worth every penny

Stay in your lane. Enjoy that banner

Dodgers MO was to overspend immediately and then to smooth payroll to give them a chance at 2018 and 2019

AGons deal doesnt even matter. It was about community and bringing respectability back to LA. Guess what, 4 straight divisions and we're not going anywhere any time soon with this farm and collection of young players and front office

Justin Turner homer in his first at bat back after 19 games on the dl

Love this man. Most underrated player in the game. Great hitter and a hreat defender. Wont win the gg obviously (nolan), but hes gotta be 2nd or close to it at 3B

Well said. You seem to be okay with it, which is fine. I just don't think the Dodgers have the chemistry and I think Puig holds them back. Red Sox lack chemistry as well, so I'm also calling my own team out.

And I probably shouldn't have used the World Series argument. 2013 was a year of career years for a lot of these players. No way anyone would think a WS win was predictable then. It was all chemistry in 2013. The marathon bombing, the beards, and Johnny Gomes.

As much as you say that, I think others are also in opposition to what you're saying. I think they think I'm crazy too, but I wouldn't be so quick to say they agree with you on everything you say.

And honestly, I'm not so off base when I post a link to a source that confirms the Dodgers have the highest payroll when you said earlier they didn't.

Dodgers May win the division, but they'll flip in the playoffs again, and honestly, Puig is a big headcase. I think most everyone not a Dodgers fan agrees with this.

I'm just saying...

I don't think anyone praises and defends a sports team as much as Mexi does. If the Dodgers were in last place, I bet he would say they would easily be on the road to first place.

I gotta say it man, you have an unreasonable amount of confidence in your team. Dodgers are a good team, yes, but they're not the ONLY good team. Just saying...
