Astros winning the WS would be a feel good story. Bringing a title to a city that is trying to recover and rebuild would be great, a 30 for 30 story it's self. Since they are going against us we can't let that happen lol.

No one is arguing how good the Twins franchise is, it's a discussion about Manager of the Year and you have yet to address that.

It was in reference to me calling the Twins "bad," not manager of the year. Honestly, I care less about that. Just saying Girardi is large overdue and Twins got very lucky.

The Yankees showed me a lot of "grit" in winning 3 straight from Cleveland to take that series.  I expect a long series between them and the Astros.  Not sure what to think about the Cubs/Dodgers series.  It should be a very good one though.

They're up and down.

I was wrong to say they were bad. But they're highly mediocre and I think luck has a lot to do with it. 83 win season, 100 loss season, followed by 85 wins.

If that's what gets him manager of the year, fine. He's manager of the year. I just think Girardi has done great with promising stars like Judge and Severino.

I was primarily talking about the Twins being bad while favoring Girardi for manager of the year. I never said Molitor shouldn't win it, it was implied. The two were mutually exclusive arguments for me.

I went into this series like, "Hey, if we lose, it's what we do best" but then especially after game 2 and 4, things felt different. Game 5 it was a fight all game, things looked perfect for the 9th. This year's team was my favorite by far.
