You shouldn't plan for a game 5.  You should plan to win the series, even with your back against the wall.
 
If Sale came in game 4 in relief, then why didn't we start David Price?  Same logic in my book.  Price would have been better than any second pitcher behind Sale.  
 
Honestly, it was stupid Hinch put Verlander in as well.  I think both managers were at fault here.  It just paid off for the Astros because they won.

No, I agree. What I'm saying is trying to get to a game 5 by going to Sale is clearly a job saving move.
