Actually, most of the Rockies offense is sneakily bad. I didn't realize Blackmon, Arenado, Reynolds, and Lucroy were their only above average hitters this season.

It's dumb but it doesn't really matter I guess since he would either be going Game 1 & 5 or 2 & 5, and the thinking is if need be they could start Bauer on short rest in game 4 or use him in the bullpen 
 
But yea, dumb, if they didn't want to use Kluber in game 1, they should have started Carrasco
