I also think Tatum > Jaylen but ive been going back and forth on that one

Not sure just yet but leaning more Tatum
I think jaylen will become Paul George soon

I like Tatum but I don't see a star star yet. Jury is still out. I do like him

Im the opposite

I see Tatum becoming more of a star than Jaylen

Dont think Jaylen will be the scorer that Tatum will be but Jaylen will be the better defender

Both studs for sure

Youth wise for me...Sixers > Cletics > Lakers

if hes destroying, then yes. but he has to show hes better than tatum and brown for that to be the case

kyrie > embiid > simmons > jaylen > tatum > fultz

if fultz is better than tatum then id agree
Embiid > Kyrie > Simmons > TBD

Need to see like 40 games from Fultz before we can properly rank the rest. And Simmons and Embiid are much better and have much higher ceilings than the two Celtics guys. In two years it could be Embiid > Simmons > Kyrie. That is, once Simmons starts shooting with his other hand of course

Tatum's still at the point where he shows flashes of potential stardom, especially in this month, but its flashes and he cannot consistently carry his play throughout the game. He's got a wicked good pull up midrange jumper for a 20 year old rookie, and has very crafty finishes as well. But he's not that good under pressure yet, and will be a little too careless with the ball (like getting trapped in the corner yesterday and throwing the ball out of bounds) at times. He's the type of kid that you can definitely see being a 20ppg scorer when he gets the game down with age.

Jaylen's the Mental guy. He'll definitely at times overthink situations and get in his own head like when he did against the Cavs when he scored just 5pts this February. But he can also lock into the game and drop 25pts on Lebron in the season opener after the rest of the team checked out due to Gordon. I mean it was an exhibition game, but Jaylen was the only one on Team USA during the Rookie/Sophomore game that wasn't ass, and he put up 35pts. He's a mean dunker that at times shows no fear at all.

But its Jaylen's defense that puts him ahead of Tatum imo. He is currently 3rd in the NBA in Defensive Rating, only behind the DPOY candidates Embiid and Gobert, and he's tied for the best DFG% in the NBA among those qualified. He has a legitimate chance for making the All-Defensive teams this season, and that's in his second year in the league with an added focus on offense this season. I'd go out and say that once Hayward is playing and Tatum's confidence goes up, Jaylen's defense will only get better. And like Mexi said, he really could be a Paul George guy (numbers say he's already on that path) as a guy you'd love to be a 3rd option scorer and lockdown defender.

Tatum will be a stud too, but idk Jaylen's my guy. And yeah ik, nobody outside of maybe paulie is going to read this lol

Or maybe they package the Cavs pick and/or Hart with Deng

I read it bosox
Good post

I agree. I've been a jaylen guy since one of the first times I saw him last year. He has an it factor. He's a star

I love how the Terry Rozier memes died out when y'all realized he wasn't awful

I hope we extend him this offseason, because some team will pay him to be a starter when he hits RFA, which is dumb since its painfully obvious that Brad can make any short, quick guard a good scorer. Like not even talking about Kyrie here -- Rozier is averaging 19/6/5 as a starter this year (sample size), Isaiah averaged 29ppg last season... hell Jordan Crawford won a POTW award with the Celtics under Brad.

But T-Ro's been dynamite this season. If we can make it to the 2nd round and Ky/Smart can play, Boston's a threat to the Raps/Sixers

Man if Philly can get the 3rd seed they're going to the ecf. Don't care if Kyrie is healthy or not

One game behind Cleveland for 3
